The Section 312 podcast was created in hopes of entertaining listeners with factual and comedic dialog. The goal of the podcast is to become a platform for talented youth to practice speaking with media in the efforts of a higher level of communication by the time they become pro.
Meet the Team
What are those voices you hear on the pod? It's these guys!
Owner & Host
Q-Man graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in radio broadcasting. He has always dreamed of becoming a famous talk show host, so he asked himself, "Why wait to get hired by someone when I could start my own show?" He's extremely vocal on his views of sports topics. He is a tall dude standing at 6'6" and is a proud owner of a French bulldog named Bella. Quentin is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.
Drew was raised in the Chicago suburbs and is an avid Bears and White Sox fan. Though this is his first experience to publicly rant and provide lukewarm takes, word has it his mother heard him yelling about the Bears’ inability to draft an above average quarterback in the womb. Outside of the podcast, you will likely find Drew in the gym or binge-watching documentaries about who knows what. Drew officially went bald in 2016 and opted to grow a beard instead of holding onto what was already gone. He has not looked back since and happily resides in parts unknown.
Information Technology Manager
Matt is the man behind the curtain of the show. He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technologies. He is actually from the St. Louis area and is a Cardinals and Blues fan. He hates Stan Kroenke and the NFL. Matt met Quentin at SIU in the lobby of the Mae Smith tower through a game of billiards. Matt Gross is also a huge fan of Southern Illinois Saluki athletics, especially basketball and football. When Matt isn't making websites or applications, you can find him watching sports or trying not to suck at Rocket League.
